Oh, the day we wait for all year has arrived. The day we get up at the crack of dawn to roll over the mountains to Hotel Lake, Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
After a week of cramming and jamming everything we possibly can into the Gypsy Wagon it is now time to go!
This is our 11th year of camping with family and friends over the July 1st weekend.
Our routines have not changed much. Early departure, mandatory stop at Tim Horton's in West Kelowna, crossing our fingers at the ferry terminal, a curvy drive up the coast and our 'ah' moment when we rise over the crest and there is Hotel Lake.
All is well.

You name it, we have it. Including a second hand windsurfer for Calvin! |

My new Gypsy Wagon sign gets a holder/stand. |

Dad built solid jack stand boxes 2 each in three different sizes that nest together. Very smart! |

Wifi and TV at Grandma's. |

Can do guess what these are for? |

Straps to tie the sail down to the boom. |

It's never too late for ping pong. |
