Goodyear Stadium - Encarnacion and You Just Can't Compete With Little Girls with Gloves and Big Smiles

Lots going on at third base!
Today was all about checking out the events in the RV park, some outlet shopping and Game 3:  Kansas City Royals vs Cleveland Indians.

How do you like the larger font, Mom?!

Aquasize at 10 am in the pool. I saw the ladies hanging on to the edge of the pool listening to instruction on a little portable radio on the deck. Some guests stay here for a few months at a time.

An orange tree :).

We are thinking of you, Dominic!

Micha needs a fancy and flashy patrol car like this. It even has red and blue lights in the wheel wells.

We are all ready for Game #3.

Alex has his glove to protect me from stray balls.

Today Alex returned is blue shoes as they were rubbing on his toes.

Going to work.

Pre-game stretch. Many people young and old are calling for the players to come over to the rails for signatures.

He's out.

This former Blue Jay hits a homer and rounds the bases with his signature right arm 'out'.

Michael Saunders makes a great catch.  As he walks towards us Alex stands up at the railing and cheerfully calls, "Michael!  May I have the ball, please!".  Alex knows this is a former Blue Jays player from Victoria, BC.  He makes eye contact, Saunders is jogging closer, he looks at Alex, our hopes are up, and then . . . ..  he goes just past us and gently tosses the ball to a little girl with a big smile.  Alex - you just can't win this one.  Smiley little girls will get the ball every time.  Sooooo close!

Lots of home runs!
