| Game 1: Texas Rangers vs Colorado Rockies, Surprise Stadium, Phoenix, AZ.
Today, we made short work of relocating from Las Vegas, NV to Phoenix, AZ. Eyes on the prize! Baseball is in our immediate future.

| This the a view of Lake Mead which backs the famous Hoover Dam. We toured the dam and walked on the new bridge three years ago. There is no view of the dam from the bridge in the east bounds lanes. |

| Desert's Edge RV aka The Purple Park is located north of Phoenix. It is not nearly as posh as our last park; however, the fees are not as lofty either :). We stayed here last time so it is a familiar location. |

| What did we ever do before Google Maps? I am not complaining - these amazing fly-over interchanges allow you to get where you need to go at 60 mph. I think that is one of the biggest differences from driving in Canada - on and off ramps have very low speed limits at home. Here - you just keep going and need to make decisions quickly. We just listen to 'Fifi' our google map voice and go with the flow. |
